Both Star Slinger and SCALLY have been at the forefront of some incredibly creative projects. Whether it's Star Slinger's remix's or edits that have seen him garner hundreds of thousands of plays and worldwide recognition, or SCALLY's part in the HALFBROTHER project that combined the talents of both him & Murkage Dave, both of these artists have been creatively active for quite some time now. This time around, the pair have teamed up for a special project that captures both of their musical intracacies for the first time.
First Love Music straddles multiple genres, with elements of R&B crossed with Electronic twinged instrumentals, and guest appearances from UK rappers. This combination of multi-genrelism makes for an engrossing listen, with plenty to keep you wanting more. From the relaxing "God's An Only Child" featuring Murkage Dave & Gilli.jpg, to the atmospheric "2 Days Off" which has a guest verse from talented young rapper Snowy, the entire project is drenched in different vibes. The production side of the project is crafted by the spectacular Star Slinger, who's blend of crisp drum patterns and dreamy synth lines sets the perfect backdrop for SCALLY to do his thing on. The project is also lyrically very strong, with many of the lyrics touching on subjects that can be close to home including love & loss, but also allows you to interpret them for yourself, opening up a whole new world of possible meanings.
