After dropping the 90s inspired visuals for his Clairo assisted jam "Better", SG Lewis is back with another electronic banger "Hurting" featuring singer AlunaGeorge.
SG Lewis brings out the big guns on this one with throbbing basslines, gripping synths, and an undeniable rhythm to match. Vocalist AlunaGeorge sends it home with her honeyed vocals and mesmerizing performance. While the upbeat vibe is dance floor ready, AlunaGeorge's lyrics keep it emotionally driven as she pines after a lost love.
The song came about when the two artists met in LA earlier in the year. Lewis explains that the recording was pretty organic and fast with both parties already knowing what direction they were heading for.

SG Lewis will be embarking on a US headline tour kicking off at Washington DC’s Union Stage on September 25thand making stops at Brooklyn’s Elsewhere on September 28th & 29th and LA’s The Fonda Theater on October 19th.
