A-Trak and Todd Terry team up for house hall of fame bound "DJs Gotta Dance"

Generations of house music fans have connected in a new track. A-Trak, a producer, professional record scratcher label head, has used his notoriety as an artist who brings hip-hop, house, electro and disco together (trust, go see him live), to team up with one of house music's OG's on his latest, "DJs Gotta Dance." He's enlisted an icon, history-maker Todd Terry, for inspirational vocals on the track. These vocals are in the style that house music lovers know to be an old school style – the music's gospel – and serve as a reminder of those who pioneered the music, Terry being one of them. His most famous songs are still in rotation – "I'll House You," that club remix of Everything But The Girl's "Missing" that you grew up with – and on "DJs Gotta Dance," Terry has brought that hypnotic vocal style back to lend on A-Trak's funky production.

Ahead of the release, A-Trak gushed, "Perks of the job: I get to work with my heroes. It's a privilege that I don't take lightly." The Fool's Gold Records release is simply "a song by DJs, for DJs."
