Adult Karate returns with a gripping new experimental single titled "This Night."
The record utilizes the classic Amen drum break and layered it with a surreal/somber backdrop to produce a weird, out-of-body type vibe. Although the D&B element still remains, the producer introduces some new wave pop vibes into the mix with the big synths and lush guitars but more importantly the vocal style employed throughout the length of the song. As per usual, Adult Karate's dense songwriting comes to the foreground as he tackles the usual father and son relationship gone sour but from a very pragmatic angle.
"This Night" is the latest single from Adult Karate, to be featured on his new album Del Mar, out August 3.
