Orlando's AJ Salvatore has released a number of future bass and pop originals in the last year, most recently his melancholic indie record "Alone." He now enters the remix arena with an official rework of "Fire Away," the dance pop collaboration between Canadian production duo Paris & Simo and Steve Reece. Compared to his more poignant efforts, this one is not for the faint of heart. Keeping the infectious vocals of the original intact, AJ dials up the BPM to 128 and unloads a beast of a bass house track that is more euphonic than ferocious. Rather than mashing together a bunch of metallic wobbles in frenetic fashion like a lot of producers do, he produces a drop with an infectious bassline that has the potential to be rinsed across the club circuit this summer.
