Extremely Bad Man is the a collaboration project between Dominican American artist and musician Julio Tavarez II and British producer and songwriter Elliot James. Both musicians met years ago while touring  in the rock band scene.

As they prepare to unleash their debut album later this summer, the duo team up with producer Cobeshack  and vocalist Alexis Moraites for their first single "Stay (Part 2)". The 70s styled soulful record has a very nostalgic and reflective vibe complete with that indelible vinyl warmth. Moraites in particular, kills the record with her commanding vocal performance, where she exudes jazz and soul sensibilities. The rawness of the record is attributed to the fact that the creative process was as untethered as possible, Julio adds "…Most of the takes were one shot, scratch vocals that are not tuned or cleaned up that much. You can hear imperfections all over the record..."

Their new album which debuts later this summer via Kobalt’s AWAL imprint also features MC’s / artists (Omenihu, Lex Famous, Jallal), collaborations with the duo’s crew and productions by hip-hop mogul Jan Fairchild (mos def, n.e.r.d. Justin Timberlake). The album touches themes of political bout, deception, and visually evocative love. The group mastered the LP at Capitol Records in Hollywood, CA with Evren Göknar (Red Hot Chili Peppers, D’Angelo, Smashing Pumpkins, Lenny Kravitz). The debut album Love Is Pure is will be available everywhere via AWAL on July 13! You can also check out the B-side to "Stay (Part 2)"  here
