Let’s face it; JAMS The Flava Child is on a roll. Over the past month, the Chicago residence has released a couple of tracks off his upcoming The Appetizer EP, and all are great. Today, however, he breaks from the release cycle and drops off a mellowed out loosie for the sake of dropping a mellowed out loosie.

Unlike classic JAMS, “Opportunity” sports a nostalgic smoked out vibe. It sounds like a casual walk on a warm summer’s day. But, don’t mistake it as lazy. It’s a contemplative track that finds JAMS thinking about his past and contemplating his future goals and accomplishments over lush instrumentals.
With a random, such quality from a throwaway track like this, it’s clear JAMS has a bright future ahead of him. And in comparison to his previous releases, we’re started to see an artist with more than a few styles in his repertoire. No word on the full release of his upcoming EP, but you can bet that as soon as we know, you’ll know too.
