Germany-based rapper Lent shows us how it goes down on the other side of the globe on his hard-hitting trap single titled "Kapitän."
The 18-year-old emcee is hungry and shows it with his youthful performance over the bouncy grimy trap backdrop provided by his blood brother Damian Beats. Armed with a unique vocal tone and a calm, confident swag, he delivers verbal darts in his native language. You don't have to fully understand the language but the sentiments can be felt.
The video, filmed by Benjamin Skalet is pretty standard but far from flashy as well. No fancy cars or dangling jewelry on this one as Lent is more about the grind and his rise to the apex. Dressed in a black and white Nike tracksuit, he is shown performing against a beautiful architectural backdrop flanked by some of his homies and other times by a model. I guess, simplicity works best for this one. Listen/download here. Lent and his brother Damian Beats are both signed to Viennese label Mom I Made It and are preparing to drop new music in the nearest future.
