Following the release of her debut single “Broken Hearted N*ggas Club” this past Valentine’s Day, Minneapolis native FPA is back. Today the singer, rapper, and vocalist graces our pages with the music video counterpart to the single. Directed by herself and Alan De Leon Taverna, which takes place in her mother’s bakery in Minneapolis.
Featuring FPA herself and local MPLS homies in the kitchen, the group are cooking up some fresh vibes and food as well. BHNC exudes early 2000s R&B vibes and the video has very DIY-in-a-good-way feel to it. When speaking on the track FPA shares, “A Broken Hearted N*gga is above all a person worthy of respect for their resilience in the face the pain, hopelessness, and rejection; and the ‘Club’ is so that nobody has to dance alone.” Give it a first look above and be on the lookout for the sophomore single.
