Napoleon Da Legend switches up the vibe with his third single "Gonzo"
"Gonzo" is an upbeat, Afro-Trap record that showcases Napoleon Da Legend's versatility. The sharp lyrics still cut through the groovy soundscape provided by Alexay Beats. It's quite an interesting switch up from the usual boom-bap type stuff as the producer takes elements from various afro-pop sub-genres such as Azonto (Ghanaian origin) but also throws in a little trap for good measure.
"Gonzo" is taken from his new Afrostreet mixtape which sees the rapper reconnecting with his Comoros roots, Afrostreet gives us an eclectic mix of Afro-beat, Dancehall, Hip-Hop, Reggae, and Zouk.
