Fresh from Hand in Hive's popular stage at the The Great Escape, Jealous of the Birds (real name Naomi Hamilton), has really nailed this new single "Plastic Skeletons." For those curious to know more about her she's a unique Northern Irish singing-songwriting-poet who flips between punked-up indie rock and beautiful folk songs with great success. The release comes with the news of a new EP, The Moths Of What I Want Will Eat Me In My Sleep. Once again jointly released by the iconic Hand in Hive and Canvasback duo.
“'We filmed the music video for Plastic Skeletons in a venue called The Menagerie in Belfast. It has a pretty grungy underground feel which suited the vibes Libby Burke Wilde and I were going for. One of my favourite things was that it was shot on film, so it has a certain texture and feel where all the colours are saturated. We just gathered a bunch of good friends together and played a mini gig blasting the song. It was insanely fun.” – Naomi
