The pair have teamed up on a new single "The Minute" which drops today. Nothings changed for Selah Sue, as her vocals soar high and low. Maverick’s approach to production fuses across genres as he keeps the melodies shimmering bright for a true summertime mood.
"Selah and me have been writing music together for a long time. 'The Minute’ feels like one of those tracks where we totally meet in the middle, trying to bridge the gap between hip hop, electronics and soul. I have tried to blend a laid-back hip hop groove with classic analog synths and the ever so beautiful Rhodes sound. Selah’s enigmatic voice and heartfelt lyrics bring enormous warmth and texture to the track. Grateful to be able to work with such an amazing artist," shares Maverick.
