Former 300 Entertainment artist Derek King is newly independent and just began releasing music again. The R&B singer is infuses a nearly pop style on his newest single, "Bittersweet" with fellow Bay Area artist Rexx Life Raj. This is the second single from his upcoming EP 1995, which will be released May 25th. "Bittersweet" is about a love that he says is both a win and loss. The infatuation that Derek King has with his love interest comes out in a few different ways throughout the song.
