New York rapper Stro has dropped a string of singles to his SoundCloud since the release of his 2017 project Grade A Frequencies. He just partnered up with fellow New Yorker Statik Selektah for this latest track "Know The Stro."
Statik lays down production with a head-nodding drumline while Stro flows with a smooth confidence. Stro oozes his typical East Coast, boom bap style that is perfectly complemented by Statik's instrumental. The young emcee toys with words like a veteran while the experienced DJ/producer leaves room for Stro to demolish the beat. According to Stro's SoundCloud, the two talented acts also have a project in the works. For now, check out the lyrical track "Know The Stro" up above.
