Doe Paoro inspires us to "Walk Through The Fire"

Los Angeles based Doe Paoro has a sound that pulls from many different genres including pop, rock, soul, R&B, and dance. With strong lyrics and an alluring soulful voice, her approach has drawn in comparisons to artists like Fiona Apple, James Blake, and early Sia. Now with two full length albums and a some even newer singles under her belt, this powerful singer/songwriter is gearing up for more new material this year. Her most recent debut “Walk Through The Fire” spotlights Doe Paoro's unique and addicting sound in a track that's most positive and inspirational.

Showcasing her talent for song, “Walk Through the Fire” is meant to be an anthem “for the hero's journey and also a nod to non-codependency.” Doe Paoro explains the full inspiration behind the song:

"There have been a lot of times in my life where I could see someone was suffering and I tried to help, but my vision of what help looked like wasn't what they needed or were ready for. Ultimately, the same is true for me; any real, deep-rooted transformation that I've ever undergone has been something that I had to decide and work through myself… I love the image of fire because it's where the alchemy happens: we get to burn it all down and start again, and we emerge from the ashes something new. For me, the redemption of pain is that it generally matures into wisdom, and that is what we have waiting on the other side."

The positive energy is not only felt in the lyrics, but also in song. Doe Paoro's dusty, emotional vocals perfectly accompany the cheery, sunny melodies that shine behind her singing.
