Fresh off two larger-than-life performances at Coachella, Louis The Child are as hot as those Carolina Reaper peppers those two idiots ate that one time.
From their joint EP with Whethan "Honey" to their soulful Rudimental-esque collaboration with Jacob Banks "Diddy Bop," the powerhouse electronic pop duo have refused to take their feet off the gas in 2018. Each song Louis The Child put out seems to be more original and groundbreaking than the one before it, and their latest offering, "Better Not (feat. Wafia)," is no different. At a quirky 114 BPM, the guys use steel drums and warm subs to set the tone before suddenly transitioning into its spellbinding chorus, which runs roughshod with fluttering arpeggios. Taking into account Wafia's gorgeous vocal effort, the track is brimming with originality and only reinforces Louis The Child's domination in the crossover space.
It's difficult to grasp the fact that these guys are barely old enough to buy alcohol.
