Singer-songwriter Elymie takes a leap of faith on her new single "Golden".
The vintage styled record acts as an emotional conduit of some sort as Elymie lets audiences dive into the fears and insecurities of an up-and-coming artist. The song represents her daily anxieties, like anyone else. But, ultimately through music she is able to come to terms with the fact that she has something special to offer the world. Especially without worrying about other people's preconceived notions about her individuality. The track has a dreamy backdrop that lends itself to Elymie's unique vocal style. She sets the song off with a melodic hum-which is actually a vocal loop from her TC Helicon Voice-Live Touch 2, and it builds up from there as she cascades the lush soundscape provided by her band with her carefree but passionate delivery.
"Golden" is the first leak from Elymie's upcoming project and serves as the perfect introduction if we do say so ourselves. A little fun fact for everyone here; she is the younger sister of comedian and writer Liz Miele.
