Looking for something bright and wacky to get your mood right this Spring? Look no further than Mad Clown and San E’s latest collab, “Butterfly.”
Coming all the way from South Korea, Mad Clown and San E have joined forces to deliver an infectious Hip-Pop record. And for the visual representation of that track, they go all in on the wackiness.
“Butterfly” features both Mad Clown and San E goofing around in different scenarios. At any point they’re cruising along in a shopping cart, taking hilarious pics in a photo booth, playing the ukelele and just generally acting funny. Everything about “Butterfly” is light-hearted, which is what’s so enticing about the video. You can tell these guys genuinely had fun making the record and the subsequent video, which makes it that much more enjoyable to watch. Also, these two don’t even take themselves seriously, which is fitting for a sunny track like “Butterfly."
About their new single, Mad Clown and San E said, "Butterfly" intended to be released as a seasonal song for this spring. The lyrics were inspired by the Poet Oen, who published a poem with an identical title of our single, "Butterfly," in the past. This single symbolizes Spring, so for the music video, we wanted to express this as much as possible with the seasonal Spring and yellow colors. This is our second reunion after having a single together back in 2015. We enjoyed every step of working together on this project and hope everyone likes it as much as they did for our last single 'Sour Grapes.'”
