Fresh off the launch of her 6th studio album, Moment of Bliss, Nashville-based singer, songwriter, and producer Kate Herzig has released stunning new visuals for "Beat Of Your Own" exclusively on our site today. As with every single on the album, "Beat Of Your Own" is an ode to female empowerment (she even featured footage from the Women's March in the video for "I Want To Make You Proud.") And the filming itself is simply stunning, as Herzig weaves back and forth in front of the camera, gently head-banging for emphasis.
In a recent interview with DuJour Magazine Herzig said, "Releasing 'Moment of Bliss' feels like a closing of a chapter in my life. It's self-indulgent in terms of production elements, music that moves in a certain way or lyrics that I've returned to. This album really does feel like the third in a trilogy of the three albums I've put out since 2011. They represent these connecting chapters of my life, one leading to the next, of relationship and loss and redemption… This album is a re-defining of my sound, it represents the culmination of this season of sound and all these things in my life that I have seen through the lenses of these songs."
