AKS comes through with a soul drenched number off his acclaimed sophomore EP 'Train of Thought'. The record titled "Real Deal" is AKS honest outlook on the music landscape where things ain't really what they seem. A landscape where artistic integrity usually gets lost in the pool of glitz, glamour and the flashing lights. AKS on the other hand is seeking for authenticity-which we don't think is too much to ask for. Rapping eloquently over a medley of melancholy keys and muted saxophone riffs, the track infuses a modern day bounce with the traditional Jazz, oozing soul in a way that is fast becoming a hallmark for the South London native. Joining him on the song is soul-singer Obenewa who garnishes the passionate track with her lush/angelic vocals as she softly interprets the main theme of the song.
