San Francisco native's NU LUXX have made their debut release on the forward thinking imprint Simplify Records. Their brand new single "Ghost Town" is a mid-tempo banger reminiscent of the likes of Rezz or Gessafelstein. This synth heavy track fits the newcomers image perfectly. They tout futuristic, neon exploration in their aesthetics, and this track mirrors that accurately. Utilizing uplifting and euphoric sound design we are led along in their journey. The two artists who recently teamed up after having relatively successful solo careers have given me the opportunity to hear their upcoming releases and these guys are most definitely on to something. They have an albums worth of music and even have some music being picked up by some heavy hitting imprints. I definitely look forward to whats to come from these bay area boys.
