Miami musician Millionyoung is back with a breezy, dancefloor-leaning piece of pop music called "Never Be The Same".
"Never Be The Same" is another single from his upcoming record Rare Form. The record will be out April 13th on Mishu Music. If the singles are any indication, this will be Millionyoung's sunniest record yet, perfectly capturing that colorful Miami energy. The amorous tune starts strong with bright, chirpy synths and a vibrant, downtempo disco beat. "Something happened to me," sings Mike Diaz, "I saw your face and it's plain to see."
After a nice breakdown which evokes strong Balearic bliss, we get an enrapturing chorus. Some soaring guitar comes in to complement the warm swath of synthesizers nicely. This slice of smooth summer pop is easy on the ears and difficult to put down, like reading a good book in a cabana, with the ocean only feet away. It's probably no coincidence that the track lasts four minutes and 20 seconds, either. Like Poolside, Summer Heart, and other dream pop contemporaries, carefree vibes don't get better than this.
