Electronic music has always played an integral part in the gaming world. With hugely influential pro-gamers and twitch streamers utilizing tracks in their games, it's hard to picture the two mediums of gaming and electronic music without one another. League of Legends, is one of the most played online games to date and the game has collaborated with electronic producers in the past for remixes for "Warsongs". The compilation included big names such as Vicetone, Marshmello, Arty and more.
Connecting back with their own personal love for the game are Vancouver based production duo, WE ARE FURY. The duo have put out heavy works in the past, carefully piecing together a sound that balances delicate emotion and sonic intensity. Most recently, the duo has used their talents to add their own flair to League of Legends track "As We Fall", originally an alternative rock work. Tapping into the rock side of things isn't new to the duo, as they've worked with rock singer Micah Martin in their track "Demons" in their 2017 EP, Signal Fires. With that being said, WE ARE FURY's rich sonic style compliments the darker vocals in "As We Fall". The duo take the original up a notch, adding an adventurous layer of sounds. The pulsating drop is full of deep grit and bass, pushing the deep tones of "As We Fall" far over the edge.
