Little is known about electronic producer Very Yes, but if his debut single is any indication, that will change in the blink of an eye. Today the mysterious newcomer dropped the sparkling chill trap number "Collide," reeling in listeners from the get-go with a dreamy, whimsical intro.

Highlighted by nifty synth work and fluttering arpeggios, his clever production techniques quickly unfurl, subtly unfolding throughout an airy milieu where crisp hip-hop inspired percussion shines through. To add to the track's mystique, Very Yes introduces heady vocal samples that add a kinetic element to the ambient arrangement, giving it a more rapturous feel.

In a press release issued for the single, Very Yes describes the inspirations for his new alias in addition to its origins.

“Very Yes is a project that’s been marinating for quite some time and I always knew would one day happen but never knew exactly when. Having been a musician my whole life, I have gone through so many phases of musical obsession but never let them all meld into one anamorphic blob. Now I have and I want to put a heavy emphasis on reviving stylings from 90s hip hop/RnB along with previous experiences and fold them into current production techniques and sounds.”
