Roots dub reggae artist Stick Figure takes positive affirmation to a higher level on his latest single titled "Easy Runaway". The self-produced song is an uplifting, mid tempo reggae dub and electronica infused cut that aims to positively assure the listener to stay the course and not falter from reaching their goals. His lyrics are highly inspiring and offer the listener a warm solace to re-energize their mind state. Woodruff sings "…I hope that you can see it/ The world needs people like you / You're here to make a difference /Go on and make a change, step into the rain..." He definitely knows how to draw up relatable motifs on the song and put them in an easy to follow arrangement. Simple and straight forward is the main ingredient Scott brings to the table with his unique take on the reggae-dub genre.
"Easy Runaway" is the second track to be released from his forthcoming album that is currently in the works. On tour, Stick Figure features Woodruff, Kevin Bong “KBong” (keyboards), Kevin Offitzer (drums), Johnny Cosmic (percussion/ guitar/ keyboard), and Tommy Suliman (bass). Together, the hard-jamming musicians are currently headlining a winter tour with support from Twiddle and Iya Terra. Buy on iTunes: HERE
