StéLouse flips Khalid's "Young Dumb & Broke" into soaring future bass jam

Perhaps the biggest breakout star of 2017, R&B prodigy Khalid released his debut LP American Teen last March to critical acclaim. Led by the jocund single "Location," the album catapulted him into the international limelight and cemented him as a household name in the contemporary music scene. "Young Dumb & Broke" is not only an accurate phrase to describe every young adult the morning after New Years Eve, but it's also the title of one of the more popular cuts from American Teen, and it recently received a makeover from electronic producer StéLouse.

Needless to say, he took it to the stratosphere. Throwing it back to the euphoric sound he used to produce back in 2014, he flips the smooth R&B jam into a soaring future bass anthem while keeping Khalid's sultry ad-libs intact. It's a nice way to kick off 2018 for StéLouse, who also announced his upcoming tour which begins in February and culminates in his hometown Denver. You can purchase tickets via his website here.
