UK Grime-Hip Hop act Isaiah Dreads wraps up the year with his visuals for his single "Real Friends". Linking up with famed UK producer JAE5 (who is associated with J Hus) who crafts a boomy, head nodding backdrop for Isaiah to spread his thoughts. The rapper goes a little deep into his personal circle and dwells on the eternal question of what is real friendship while breaking down what that means.
For the visuals, Isaiah Dreads takes it back to his old stomping yard in Dorchester. He further explains. "I felt that the video had to be shot in Dorset to correlate with the song. There are shots outside my old school in Dorchester, on the basketball courts that I went to a lot when I was younger and on one of my favourite beaches in Dorset where I used to spend a lot of time in the summer. It was important to have my real friends in the video. People could tell if they were fake friends! "
"Real Friends" precedes his highly anticipated upcoming EP, ‘South West,’ a collaborative production with Zdot and Krunchie, one of the UK’s leading songwriting and production teams.
