20-year-old bass prodigy Ray Volpe puts his signature spin on U.K. happy hardcore king Gammer's latest. "A while back, Gammer sent over his new EP and once I got to 'Stay Tonight', I instantly fell in love with the vocals and his heavy dance drop," said Volpe. The skilled young bass slinger molds the hardcore original into a dubstep cut that retains its raucous tempo, while gliding through sweeping peaks and valleys of emotion that may just hit you in that headbang/cry sweet spot. Ray's perfect sound design and production on "Stay Tonight" comes as no surprise to fans of the artist, as he leads the dubstep revival with elevated talent far beyond his years. With extensive national touring and support from names like Diplo, Kill The Noise, and Excision in his corner, Volpe is on an undeniable upward trajectory.
