James Chatburn lights your emotions on "Fire"

Sometimes less is, well, quite more. Singer James Chatburn epitomizes this belief on his latest offering "Fire," a live acoustic rendition of an original of the same name. The song is an effortless display of intimate vulnerability in both the narrative and musicality. He sings with such fervor "...You and I were formidable / We knew our home was so beautiful / Then they burnt our city right to the ground..." presenting a vivid account with a fierce soulful voice both fragile and intense.

"Fire" is the last track of Australian singer, songwriter, and producer James Chatburn's sophomore EP Damen – a project that explores soul, blues, rock, and electronic music. After years of writing music with nothing more than a pen and a guitar, James has successfully maneuvered his way into the world of production with the completion of Damen.
