Sometime last summer a trio of unknowns from New Zealand going by the name L.A WOMEN self-released their debut track "Hurricane Love." Since then the song has amassed 4 million streams and counting, along with a music video premiere on MTV. No doubt the romantics of the world have revisited the relatable stormy love lyrics whenever their lives are crossed by a whirlwind hurricane love.
Jasper Dietze's housey rework released today on Lowly Palace and is premiering with EARMILK. The Spinnin' Records-signed Dutchman's rendition "took the song into a realm that we hadn’t thought of creatively. His interpretation of the track stepped into the electronic scene without taking away the essence of the song!" High praise from L.A. WOMEN themselves. Dietze dials up the energy for a more upbeat take on "Hurricane Love" that will leave you feeling more sunshine than rain.
