California rocker Ty Segall is continuing his prolific stretch of material this year that started with January's self-titled Ty Segall album, as we have another single of his to enjoy, "My Lady's On Fire". This standalone track comes on the heels of two others, last month's "Meaning" and September's "Alta", not to mention July's Fried Shallots EP which donates it profits to the ACLU. "My Lady's On Fire" is a unique tune not just in the clever early transition or how it showcases a softer side of the often boisterous musician, but it also has the self-proclaimed honor of being arguably "the saxophone jammer of the year", which is a title more songs should attempt to hold. According to the Bandcamp description, if you can catch Segall at one of his tour dates this year, there's a mighty high chance you'll be able to hear the tune, as it's apparently "quickly becoming an audience favorite with its classic pop ballad style that offers provocation to the unrighteous creators of chaos". If that description doesn't get you interested in hearing this tune, I'm not sure what will.
