Multi-talented artist Ogechi presents to us her latest work titled "My lil author". The song mixes poetry, rap and RnB elements into a dedication of some sorts to an unidentified significant other. Blacking out on a chilled, somewhat off-kilter soundscape, she kicks off with a spoken word intro-switches into a sultry singing chorus and flips right into rapping on the verses.
Ogechi is what you call a true creative, born and raised in Kansas City, MO to Nigerian immigrants based in Atlanta, GA. Blessed with a sweet twang in her voice that is soothing to the ear, you almost never know when she's switching her speaking voice to a poetic cadence, rapping tone, or singing voice.
