Slum Village member Young RJ delivers his new video "Motion" in style. The single features Joyner Lucas with additional vocals from Earlly Mac and newcomer Drey Skonie. The mellow, trap jam sees the emcees in their true individual element. Young RJ delivers a rise to glory tale from an up-comer's perspective, taking the good with the bad but not allowing the obstacles disrupt the upward motion. On the other hand, Joyner Lucas's thoughts dwell on a relationship gone sour between two individuals with a child in between leading to unforeseen circumstances but life still has to progress because slow motion is way better than no motion.
The video was shot in Detroit, after a Joyner Lucas show, close to the staple venue, El Bar. The director, Diego, makes good use of black and white visuals together that tells an abstract story, that can be taken, different ways, by different viewers.
Young RJ's album Blaq Royalty is now available everywhere. The album features Boldy James, Guilty Simpson, BJ the Chicago Kid and a host of others.
