As the year speeds off to a close, there's nothing more endearing than a smooth deep house ode to the warmer months to keep the groove going. French producer Douze gifts us with his new collaborative single with Swedish singer Magnus entitled "Out Of My Head". The duo deliver a warm, funky tune that brings back those fleeting summer memories.
To take it to the next level, the pair linked up with video directing crew MB to bring the song to life with images of sun-kissed Santa Monica beaches and Venice Beach palm trees. Aerial shots with crisp cinematography signal a farewell to the season.
Douze is Arnault Douze Esteve, a young French producer. First discovered by Kris Menace, he would later become the protégé of the German producer. Their collaboration led to several tracks produced on Kris's debut album Idiosyncrasies, followed by a handful of EPs. To this day, Kris and Douze continue to work together – with Douze appearing on Menace’s Features and forthcoming project Sun, Moon & Stars in collaboration with Simon Lord. Douze recently worked with another titan of the French house music scene, Alan Braxe, the results of which are still under lock and key in Braxe’s own production vault.
