The annual triumphant culmination of festival season is upon us, by way of Amsterdam Dance Event. The city-wide takeover attracts luminaries from all corners of the genre and globe, and many are traveling to Amsterdam to hear to roar of one iconic label. Monstercat Uncaged Presented by Bassrush is ready to descend upon Melkweg this Thursday, with a jaw-dropping lineup featuring NGHTMRE, Seven Lions, Delta Heavy, Pegboard Nerds, Dirtyphonics, Feint, Dion Timmer, and Going Quantum.

Amsterdam is a special place for dance music. It’s been at the forefront of the genre for as long as house music has been at home on the dance floor. “ADE holds a special place in our hearts as it was where Monstercat held its first European showcase. To not only return, but to host an event at Melkweg and participate in ADE programming with a ‘Team Behind Monstercat’ is an overwhelming honor. Joining us at our event on the 19th is a total of 8 artists comprising one of our biggest lineups to date! We hope our Monstercat family is as excited as we are to bring Monstercat Uncaged to our favorite convention ADE," says Jacky JZ, Head of Events at Monstercat.

For many current day fans,  the Vancouver label embodies what it means to truly be a raver. Monstercat refers to its fan base, its community members, as family. But the term isn’t used lightly. Give “Call Of The Wild” – Monstercat’s weekly online radio show – a spin, and you’ll soon see. The diverse and passionate legion of fans tweet, text, and call in, just for the chance to share what this label means to them. Spoiler alert: it’s everything. Tune in and  you’ll hear everything from the label’s impact on helping a family member get over heartbreak, to finding resiliency in the face of bullying, to realizing their own ambitions to make music. If you are someone who values the community element of EDM, you need to be listening to Monstercat.

And if you are lucky enough to be touching down in Amsterdam with your fellow electronic music fanatics this weekend, make plans to make it to Melkweg for Monstercat: Uncaged Thursday, October 19. Your ticket even grants you access to bitbird’s showcase next door (if you’re asking yourself how you got so lucky, you’re not alone) – promising the most stellar evening of soul-igniting, genre-destroying dance music imaginable.

Headliner and hard bass bender Delta Heavy is feeling the love – “ADE is such a great festival, and we’re thrilled to be joining Monstercat not only with our new track ‘Stay’ released last week, but also one their incredible ADE lineup!”

Tickets are still available. Come hear the roar!
