Dallas, Texas based freewave artist CardiacTheGhost continues his retro-fitted journey with the release of a new visual for his song "SMOKE & GAS BOI". A while back he dropped the equally experimental visual "Kundalini" which set the tone for his new release.
"SMOKE & GAS BOI" is an interesting one as it is quite off kilter with the aim of not to be taken too seriously. His flow and musical approach is reminiscent of the home made records that screams different and off setting. The visuals for "SMOKE & GAS BOI" give off this very old school styled video as viewers watch Cardiac on 16mm footage as he makes his way through all the classic spots in the Dallas art. The video was shot and Directed by Greg Meza of ADP (After Deth Production), who has worked with the likes of Mr. Tony Williams and Nelly Furtado in the past.
As per usual, he doesn't conform to standard rules in the game and while his style may not be palatable to many, he definitely is up to something with this freewave movement of his.
