Team Salut is a U.K production group made up of 3 talented individuals; GKP, T.I.M and Mista Wood who are already burning the charts with a MTV bass chart banger and a handful of collaborations with acts such as PARTYNEXTDOOR, Stefflon Don and Emeli Sande just to name a few. The London based hit machines were also responsible for bangers such as the summer smash hit "Dance For Me" by Eugy and Mr Eazi; Afro B's Wale assisted single "Stay Winning" and Tion Wayne's breakthrough record ‘Minor’.
After their extensive work behind the scenes, the trio are poised to step into the spotlight with the release of their debut single "Hot Property". A groovy afropop/dancehall jam that oozes nothing but hot summer days, bikinis and cold drinks with those funny umbrellas sticking out of them. The sizzling track is an instant dance floor filler backed by rich synths, head nodding drums and that infectious Caribbean groove, despite all these goodness, the team also invite their past collaborators to join the fun. The combination of Tion Wayne, Afro B and Eugy is an enhancement of that hybrid 'Afro-wave' which is slowly taking over the airwaves in the UK.
Speaking about the inspiration for their new single and how it all came together,
“‘Hot Property’ is all about having a good time and feeling special about yourself and we felt for our first release it’s important to collaborate with our extended family, and that’s why we brought Tion, who we recently worked with on ‘Minor’, one of our long-time collaborators Afro B, and Eugy, whose ‘Dance For Me, is one of our biggest records to date, on board for this one”.
