Louis the Child get “Right To It” with Ashe on new track

Louis The Child — the Chicago-born, LA-based duo consisting of Robby Hauldren and Freddy Kennett — are back with another lighthearted experimental pop track, “Right To It” featuring Ashe. It’s LTC’s second collaboration with the female vocalist, following Love Is Alive standout “World On Fire.” Again, her voice lends a flirtatious vibe to the duo’s instrumentals.

About the track, Hauldren said in a press statement: We were like, ‘Let’s just write a song that would feel incredible when you’re hanging out, just kicking it on a beautiful day.’” With mermaid-invoking flute synths and lyrics like “We can get down to it./ Mix some vodka with some OJ,” the sun-drenched experimental pop song is as perfect for a living room dance party playlist as it is for a lazy afternoon full of day drinking with one’s cats; it’s danceable, yet super chill.

Louis The Child is about to embark on an extensive North American tour. It's called the Last To Leave tour and features support from Joey Purp, Lauv, Louis Futon, Prince Fox, Party Pupils, Point Point, and Win & Woo on various dates.

Stream, download, and buy “Right To It” on your platform of choice, here.
