In an electronic landscape where frenetic big-room bangers reign supreme, there's nothing like a slice of good ol' uplifting progressive house. Enter Dannic, who today premieres "Alive" via EARMILK. Featuring the buoyant vocals of 16-year-old phenom Mahkenna, Dannic's newest original tune is a doozy.
"Alive" is reminiscent of Dannic's 2012 remix of Nicky Romero and NERVO's classic "Like Home," which helped thrust him into the national spotlight before he went on his Revealed Recordings rampage. "Viper," "Zenith" and "Blaze" are just three of the many hits he dropped on Hardwell's renowned label.
2017 finds Dannic running his own Fonk Recordings imprint, which enables him to push his inimitable brand of funky electro house music. He has become quite the tastemaker, with his label's unique sound reverberating across the international festival circuit through not only his music, but also that of house heavy-hitters Promise Land, Holl & Rush, Tom & Jame and many more. However, it's nice to hear Dannic step away for a moment and go back to his roots.
