In a collision of burgeoning electronic duos, The Golden Pony have teamed up with Uplink for the beautiful original "Feel Like You're Drowning" on Uprise Music. Both duos have mainly stayed in the deep house/future house lanes, but here they recruit NYC-based singer/songwriter Dasha Akelin for a future bass stunner.
All the trimmings of a future bass favorite are present here: warm saws, fluttering arpeggios, and uplifting leads that are shrewdly isolated in the beginning of the second drop in a nice display of production. Dasha Akelin also throws down a poignant vocal performance that takes this track past the point of a mere SoundCloud favorite and into the territory of a bona fide Spotify hit.
