It's been a minute since we've heard from ZAXX. And when we did hear from him, he was dropping big room festival bombs a-la his colossal KSHMR collab "Deeper."
This week, however, the young Staten Island native decided to go a different route with his sound by unveiling a beautiful electronic cover of Manchester rock band The 1975's alternative hit "Me." ZAXX does a wonderful job in keeping the original's brooding undertones intact but also offers up a unique twist with the uplifting, synth-driven drop just past the track's midway point. Where did this out-of-the-blue song and new sound come from, you ask? In the song's description, ZAXX writes that it is, "a cover/remix to one of my favorite songs by The 1975 and a tribute to anyone dealing with any hardships in their life."
