Yuck, that beat is just so dang filthy. The video for “Original” is relatively straightforward, painting the lyrics above four small panels with different pictures or artwork strewn across the background. As the track is fairly distorted, from a sonic standpoint, the visuals do well to follow suit, warping and coloring images to match the vibe. It’s all very raunchy and gnarly, with Simon’s flow fitting the cadence of the productions extremely well.
“Original” is a perfect example of an artist doing the right amount of work in a video. It’s easy to get too deep or go too far with a video and make things overly complicated. But on “Original,” Mineo and Audio Bullys keep it simple allowing their grimy track to shine through in all its head-banging glory.
