ODESZA drops eleventh installment of 'NO.SLEEP' mix series

Gearing up for next month's release of their new album A Moment Apart and a world tour to match, ODESZA unveil a dreamy mix as the eleventh edition of their NO.SLEEP Soundcloud series. The Seattle duo unleashed the new mix as a surprise last Sunday night, on the nearly two year anniversary of their last NO.SLEEP offering.

Kicking off with Baauer's rework of "Settle Down" by No Doubt and sprinkling in artists including Empire of the Sun, Gorillaz and Petit Biscuit, ODESZA remains innovative on the new mix. The just over 48 minute offering mirrors the dreamlike aura of their recently released singles "Line of Sight" featuring WYNNE & Mansionair and "Higher Ground" featuring Naomi Wild. ODESZA wraps listeners in a golden hue of soundscapes on the new mix, where high-energy moments are juxtaposed with euphoric, scintillating instrumentation.

A Moment Apart is ODESZA's first full length release since 2014's In Return, whose infectious bliss sent a shockwave through the genre. Out September 8 via Counter Records, the new work contains features from Regina Spektor, Leon Bridges, The Chamanas, Kelsey Bulkin and Sasha Sloan. With the new mix to tide you over, stay tuned for more music from ODESZA.
