Honestly, not much excites me more than finding new music from kid lizard in my feed. After letting his previous release somehow slip by unnoticed for a while, I couldn't possibly pass up the chance to be one of the first to post his latest track "Squall Line" with tohrchu.
Most of kid lizard's music tends to have a very uplifting jazzy feel to it. As expected, "Squall Line" starts off with a groovy beat/bass line and a simple chord progression but an unexpected turn as the song breaks. You can almost feel the tension and visualize the squall rolling in as the track builds with stormy energy and finally drops into an aggressive trap beat that will blow you away. I love the way the two producers present such contrasting vibes in a way that feels slightly unsettling yet flows perfectly.
