In anticipation for his upcoming album, One Long Dream, Canadian born talent SonReal has released the video for his single “Problems.”
The Dane Collison directed clip finds SonReal walking around his hometown of Vancouver, taking in the sights and even enjoying some literal couch surfing. The content of “Problems” surrounds the understanding that everyone has issues they deal with on a daily basis. SonReal and crew do an excellent job of highlighting the general population of Vancouver in the video, giving the visuals a feel of community.
“Problems” is like a grassroots hustler’s anthem. It’s not about flashy cars or expensive chains but instead focuses on the beginning of the hustler’s journey, starting from a homie’s couch and working your ass off. It’s an uplifting track with an equally uplifting video and is yet another solid entry in SonReal’s catalog.
