Classics are classics for a reason, but it’s always great to get a fresh take and spice things up a bit. The Nova Black boys are no strangers to tackling some well-known hits. To date the UK duo has added their signature cosmic style of synth house atop staple tracks by artists like Marvin Gaye, Erykah Badu, and Ginuwine and the results have been seamless. The up-and-coming duo is fairly new to us, but everything they’ve offered so far has been absolutely delicious. Setting your week on the path to good vibes, Nova Black is back to put a new spin on 90s classic “Poison” originally by Bell Biv Devoe.

The smooth R&B vocals have been wisely selected and edited to fit in perfectly with Nova Black’s spaced out synths and effects. They keep with the fun spirit and energy of the original, but the groove Nova Black adds here makes Bell Biv Devoe’s “Poison” a new favorite.
