Pro Era’s long lost brothers Nyck Caution and Kirk Knight are back with another leak off of their highly anticipated Nyck @ Knight tape. Kirk takes the nostalgic sounds of the 90s and launches them into the 2017 traposphere. As an added bonus, he also links up with 1-900. You might know 1-900’s production from his work with Chiddy Bang, and most recently, “Devastated” by Joey Bada$$.
In tandem with “Off the Wall,” “Dial Up” hints that Nyck @ Knight is going to be one of the grittiest projects of the summer. Nyck compliments the beat with a husky verse about taking risks and making plays. Their vocals harmonies are an unexpected surprise, and build some necessary space before the duo go ballistic swapping verses. Nyck’s final verse swells in and stomps out the beat.
Their joint tape, Nyck @ Knight, is dropping July 21st.
