HERØ Records is a new record label that feature both emerging and proven artists and will cater to a myriad of genres including electronic, pop, indie, and hip-hop.
However, there's a crazy twist to the label that will make things uniquely fun for its fans: every song or album release will be accompanied by a digital 3-5 page comic that reflects the ethos of the music, and will star a completely original superhero or villain based off the artist.
Kicking things off is NYC-based artist Skela, who will represent the first official release to kickstart HERØ Records' branding.
Fans of Josh Jacobsen might recognize Skela from his single "Not Alone" and boasting a powerful yet velvety voice, today she has released her first single "HELLA" off her debut EP coming in September. "HELLA" is a smooth indie-pop jam that will remind listeners of Haim and equally cool retro hipster artists.
