Continuing with his Mixed Bag Series, Columbus, Ohio rapper Devin Xo is back with a new track, “Pineapples,” that’s sure to get you grooving on the first day of summer.

The self-produced cut has that bright and sunny vibe we’ve come to know and love from Devin. He spits a few verses about seeing the big picture while riding on an extra bouncy synth beat. Tracks like this are where Devin finds his groove. He seems most at home when rapping about enjoying life and not letting the losers get you down. It could grow tiresome, but Devin has thus far found ways of making each track different enough while maintaining that consistent theme.
Devin is continuing his series, so this will not be the last you hear from the quirky rhymer this summer. Until the next one drops, post up in a hammock with an ice cold brew, and grab yourself a slice of “Pineapples.”
