I am a firm believer that summertime is the season of synth, and judging by their latest single Parade of Lights agrees. "Touch" is an 80s tinged, synth and hook-laden tune that evokes visions of palm tree lined streets and Instagram-worthy sunsets – which makes perfect sense when you consider the indie pop purveyors hail from Los Angeles, California.
Comprised of lead vocalist and guitarist Ryan Daly, bassist Randy Schulte, keyboardist Michelle Ashley, and drummer Anthony Improgo – their newest single attempts and succeeds at balancing lyrics about acute yearning against dance-worthy guitar pop. This is the first track in over two years since the release of their 2015 album Feeling Electric. There's more music set to be released this summer and we can't wait.
